2 Weeks of Wedded Bliss

April 12th was a beautiful day even if it was snowing! Brian and I enjoyed a wonderful day of celebration with our family and friends and loved every minute of it. Below are a few pictures of the day provided by family and friends (by the way, there's more on facebook if you want to see a whole album...)

The program.

My mom walking me down the aisle.

A great big hug from Colson...by the way, with so many kids at the wedding only 2 had to leave and they were both 2 and under. One wanted his mommy who was a bridesmaid and the other wanted her daddy who was the pianist. Not bad for a sanctuary full of children. We were both so glad the kids could come and also be part of our day.

Speaking of kids, here's Isaac in his tux. I know this picture is on Amy's blog as well, but we giggle everytime we see this picture.

The happy couple entering the reception.
The happy couple with Mark - a groomsman.

Brian and the adorable flower girls - Anna & Alyssa.

We left Saturday evening for Cedarburg and spent the first two nights at the Washington House Inn, and on Monday morning we headed up to Door County to spend a relaxing week by the lake.
A candle light dinner in Sister Bay.
The view from our balcony out to Lake Michigan. It was wonderful to hear the wind & waves all day. At night we slept with the sliding door open to hear the crash of the waves. It was so relaxing.
April 20th it was back to work for me, and Brian was back the next day. We've enjoyed the past week of settling in at home - especially the fact that Brian doesn't have to leave at night anymore. There's a simple joy that comes from being settled and getting into a routine.
More to come as we continue our adventure of married life. :)
